Kelli Roehrig scored a career-high 27 points to lead Michigan State past No. 10 Minnesota, 74-71, Thursday at East Lansing, Mich.
The Spartans, who improved to 10-7 overall and 3-3 in the Big Ten Conference, used a 14-6 run down the stretch for the victory.
Corrin Von Wald scored 24 points to lead Minnesota (15-2, 4-2).

No. 18 Vanderbilt 76, No. 8 Arkansas 59 -- Jenni Benningfield’s 28 points led the Commodores (12-5, 2-2) over the Razorbacks (16-3, 3-1) in an SEC game at Nashville.
No. 9 North Carolina 79, Western Michigan 76 -- Coretta Brown scored 26 points and the Tar Heels (16-2) defeated the Broncos (10-5) at Kalamazoo, Mich.
No. 11 Louisiana Tech 75, Tulsa 62 -- Erica Smith’s 23 points led the Lady Techsters (13-2, 6-0) over the Golden Hurricane (10-7, 5-1) in a Western Athletic Conference game at Ruston, La.
No. 12 Purdue 83, Iowa 64 -- Erika Valek scored 26 points to lead the Boilermakers (15-3, 4-2) over the Hawkeyes (10-6, 2-3) in a Big Ten game at West Lafayette, Ind
No. 20 Villanova 73, No. 13 Penn State 66 -- Courtney Mix’s 18 points led the Wildcats (14-2) over the visiting Lions (15-5) in overtime.
No. 14 Mississippi State 69, Auburn 60 -- LaToya Thomas scored 26 points to lead the Bulldogs (14-3, 3-1) to a SEC victory over the Tigers (13-4, 1-3) at Starkville, Miss.
No. 16 Wisconsin Green Bay 75, Butler 36 -- Chandra Johnson scored her team’s first nine points and the Phoenix (16-2, 7-0) rolled over the Bulldogs (3-13, 1-5) in a Horizon League game at Indianapolis.
Arizona State 73, No. 19 Arizona 58 -- Jill Noe scored 22 points at Tempe, Ariz., and the Sun Devils (12-6, 4-5) beat the Wildcats (12-5, 6-3) in a Pacific 10 game.
No. 21 UC Santa Barbara 70, UC Riverside 58 -- Jess Hansen scored 20 points and the Gauchos (12-3, 5-1) cruised past the Highlanders (4-12, 1-4) in a Big West game at Riverside.
No. 24 Georgia 77, Alabama 47 -- Alexis Kendrick scored 20 points and the Bulldogs (13-4, 4-0) routed the Crimson Tide (10-7, 0-4) in an SEC at Tuscaloosa, Ala.
