From Times Staff Reports
Police are investigating the death of a homeless man whose body was found in a bush near the UCLA campus early Saturday morning.
A pedestrian found the body near the east side of the campus after detecting an odor, said Los Angeles Police Sgt. Karen Stimson.
The body appeared to have suffered trauma, but it is not clear how the man died, she said. Homicide detectives are investigating. She said the dead man had no connection with the university.
