Swearing-In Ceremony Scheduled for 2 Judges

A swearing-in ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. July 17 for two federal judges recently assigned to the U.S. District Court in Santa Ana.
James V. Selna and Cormac Carney were confirmed by the U.S. Senate in March and April, respectively, and were initially assigned to the federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
Carney was appointed to Orange County Superior Court by Gov. Gray Davis in October 2001. Selna was appointed to the Orange County Superior Court in 1998.
