Ann Coulter Stirs Up Dust With Her Attacks on the Left

Re “A Liberal-Hunting Terminator,” Commentary, July 10: James Pinkerton does exactly what writer Ann Coulter describes in her book about how the left uses tactical misrepresentation of the facts. After hearing her interviewed on the radio, I rushed to buy her book. All Americans should read the book for themselves, look at her facts and then decide for themselves whether her evidence is credible.

Pinkerton would rather we just believe him and his ilk and not bother with at least looking at another opinion. This book reveals the most damning evidence of treachery reaching to the highest offices held by the darlings of the left and their attempt to rewrite history. And the beat goes on.

Other than her conservative outlook, Coulter is not much different from the hippie radicals of the 1960s. The radicals gave us left-wing vitriol. Coulter gives us right-wing vitriol. The radicals’ ideas were divisive and generally not helpful. Coulter’s ideas are divisive and generally not helpful.

Many of the radicals thought Karl Marx was a great guy. Coulter apparently thinks Joseph McCarthy was a great guy. I wouldn’t call Coulter a “Terminator.” I would call her a retread.

Coulter simply hates. And in a different reality, I might feel sorry for someone so blind with hatred and pure vindictiveness, but in this reality, there’s never any shortage of dangerous people whose hate is fueled by her diatribe, like the KKK and neo-Nazis.
