Share

Trying to continue a hot streak after winning four races Sunday, jockey Baltazar Contreras has four mounts tonight.

Third in the overall jockey standings behind Alex Bautista and Ramon Sanchez, Contreras will ride Maxian in the first, Count Rimal in the third, Especially Pancho in the fifth and Red Inx in the sixth.

Red Inx is in the best form. A 3-year-old gelding owned and trained by Blane Schvaneveldt, he’ll be seeking his third victory in a row. Red Inx will break from Post 7 in the field of eight $8,000 claimers going 870 yards.
