Police Link 3 Assaults to Same Assailant
Sheriff’s investigators believe that the same person may be responsible for three sexual assaults in Aliso Viejo because of similarities among the incidents.
The women were approached from behind, their skirts pulled over their heads and their underwear pulled down, said Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino. They were touched “inappropriately” before the assailant fled, he said.
The attacks occurred between Nov. 1, 2001 and June 4, 2003. Two occurred at the Aventine Apartments in the 22500 block of Chase and the third in the 700 block of Sandpiper Lane.
