Laguna Hills Man Hit in Crosswalk

A 20-year-old Laguna Hills man was in critical condition after he was hit by a car while crossing the street, and Orange County sheriff's detectives are investigating the incident.

The man was walking in a crosswalk at Alicia and Moulton parkways in Laguna Hills about 9 p.m. Friday when he was hit by a Ford Mustang driven by a 29-year-old Rancho Santa Margarita man, Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Dave Wilson said.

The pedestrian was in critical condition at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo on Saturday.

Detectives have not determined who had the right of way.
