Matt Aidem, Valencia: Had four hits, including a double, and drove in three runs for the No. 10 Vikings in a 13-5 victory over No. 8 Riverside Poly in a North Orange County tournament semifinal. He pitched six innings, striking out nine.
Brandon Laird, Westminster La Quinta: Hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning to give the No. 1 Aztecs a 5-3 victory over Mission Viejo in a semifinal of the North Orange County tournament.
Chris Valaika, Newhall Hart: Had a three-run, inside-the-park home run and a two-run homer in a 9-1 victory over Sylmar in a Westside tournament pool-play game.
Stephen LaCarra, Whittier California: Drove in the game-winning run in the fifth inning and had a run-scoring double earlier in a 4-3 victory over Oxnard Channel Islands in a Montebello tournament pool-play game.

Jamee Juarez, Hacienda Heights Wilson: Had a two-run homer and struck out 15 for the No. 12 Wildcats in a 5-1 victory over Arcadia.
Wendy Garcia, Oxnard Rio Mesa: Had a home run and run-scoring single in a 4-0 victory over Moorpark in the Pacific View tournament.
Selena Salazar, San Fernando: Pitched her second no-hitter of the season, striking out 13 and walking five, in a 3-0 nonleague win over Tujunga Verdugo Hills.

Colby Schlaht, Anaheim Canyon: Won the 50 and 200 freestyle events and swam on the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams in a 92-78 nonleague victory over Anaheim Esperanza.

Travis Pinick, Orange Lutheran: Had 23 kills in a 15-12, 6-15, 15-17, 15-6, 16-14 nonleague victory over Placentia El Dorado.
Brian Thornton, San Clemente: Had 54 assists and five aces for the No. 4 Tritons in a 15-5, 15-7, 15-4 nonleague victory over Huntington Beach Edison.
