Chicago is 29th in the league on the power play and the Ducks are second on the penalty-kill.
Thursday at St. Louis, 5 p.m., ESPN -- The Blues are hoping that their trade for goaltender Chris Osgood from the New York Islanders leads to more playoff success. St. Louis will be without forward Keith Tkachuk, sidelined because of a wrist injury. The Ducks are 5-7-2-1 in the second of consecutive games this season.
Saturday at San Jose, 7:30 p.m., Channel 9 -- In overtime, Thomas scored his third goal in two games with the Ducks in a 3-2 victory over the Sharks last week at the Pond. Teemu Selanne leads San Jose in scoring with 25 goals and 57 points.
