Donovan, Calgary End Turco’s Streak

Shean Donovan scored 2:51 into overtime to lead the Calgary Flames to a 2-1 victory Thursday night over the Dallas Stars at Calgary, Canada.

Donovan picked up the puck near Calgary’s blue line and raced up the middle, skating in all alone on Marty Turco. It was the first loss since Dec. 26 for Turco, who was 12-0-4 in his previous 18 appearances.

Dallas has earned points in five straight games (3-0-0-2).

Philadelphia 2, Boston 2 -- Tony Amonte scored twice, including a short-handed goal that got the Flyers even with 6:49 left in regulation at Philadelphia. The tie helped the Flyers remain three points behind the Atlantic Division-leading New Jersey Devils.

St. Louis 2, Florida 1 -- Doug Weight scored a power-play goal with two seconds left after a penalty for too many men on the ice, to give the Blues the win at St. Louis.

Chicago 4, Nashville 1 -- Andrei Nikolishin and Steve Sullivan each had a goal and an assist at Chicago as the Blackhawks won for only the seventh time in 32 games (7-20-3-2).

Vancouver 5, Phoenix 1 -- Markus Naslund of the Canucks became the first player to reach 100 points this season when he assisted on Ed Jovanovski’s power-play goal in the third period at Vancouver. He has 45 goals and 55 assists.

New Jersey 2, Tampa Bay 2 -- Vincent Lecavalier scored a power-play goal to tie the score with 5:25 left in the third period at Tampa, Fla., enabling the Lightning to extend their franchise-record unbeaten streak to 10 games (6-0-4).

San Jose 3, Detroit 0 -- Vesa Toskala made 25 saves at San Jose for his first career shutout as the Sharks won for only the fourth time in 14 games.
