From Times Staff Reports

A Massachusetts man arrested on suspicion of molesting two altar boys in Boyle Heights in the 1980s faces extradition to California, police said.

Amado Pena, 51, was arrested Thursday night at his home in Chelsea, Mass. Last week, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office filed 18 counts of lewd conduct with a child against Pena, who was a seminary student at the time of the alleged crimes. He is accused of molesting the boys from 1980 to 1982 at Santa Teresita Church.
