Supervisors Give Early OK to Coastal Plan

Supervisors gave tentative approval to an updated county coastal protection plan.
The board on Tuesday adopted California Coastal Commission-recommended changes in the 21-year-old plan. The changes cover trail development, protection of scenic views, building setbacks and installation of telecommunications cables.
