Holiday closures
Today is Memorial Day. The following schedules are in effect.
Offices: All city, county, state and federal offices and courts are closed.
Mail: There will be no mail delivery, and post offices are closed.
Banks: Most banking institutions are closed.
Libraries: Most libraries are closed.
Schools: Public schools are be closed.
Public transportation: MTA buses and Metro Rail lines are on Sunday-schedule service. Metrolink trains will not operate.
Trash collection: The city of Los Angeles will maintain regular pickup schedules.
