Boy’s Remark Leads to Father’s Weapons Arrest

A 5-year-old boy who told his teacher his parents kept a gun in their car provided enough information to get his father arrested.
San Diego police said the teacher had lectured the students about the danger of guns, prompting the boy to tell her about the weapon. The teacher called authorities.
When the boy’s father arrived to pick him up, waiting deputies found a loaded pistol and drug paraphernalia in the car, they said.
