Two Players Suspended
Arizona suspended two starters -- fullback Gilbert Harris and guard Keith Jackson -- on Friday after the university declared them ineligible.
The players will miss the Wildcats’ last four games. No reason was given for the action.
On Tuesday, tailback Clarence Farmer was kicked off the team. Farmer was the Pacific 10 Conference’s leading rusher as a sophomore in 2001.
Arizona (1-7) has lost seven consecutive games and plays today at Oregon State.
