Bobbiesdashnfavorite Has Edge in Claimer

Share

Dropping out of a $75,000 stakes, Bobbiesdashnfavorite looks like the one to beat in tonight’s feature, a $16,000 claimer at 300 yards.

Owned by Karen Vickery and trained by Bret Vickery, the 3-year-old filly was a troubled seventh in the MBNA Claiming Challenge Championship, but won the time before and is drawn favorably on the outside in the field of seven.

The field also includes the Kelly Lewis-trained duo of Sawachan and Corona Magic. Owned by Cathy Monji, Sawachan has won two of 14 and should appreciate the drop into a claimer after two starts in the allowance ranks.

Completing the cast are Casita, Shell Ha, Corona Chaser and Dh Proud Dasher, who has won two of his last four for trainer Juan Aleman.

The picks: 1. Ceebrite. 2. Lost in Traffic. 3. The Final Answer. 4. Humphreys Begone. 5. In His Dreams. 6. Two Sick To Fly. 7. Bobbiesdashnfavorite. 8. Snow N Roses.

Four! In His Dreams, Someone In Need and Rubiate in the fifth, Two Sick to Fly, Hez Fast Streaker and Pals Okey in the sixth, Bobbiesdashnfavorite in the seventh and Rileys Moon, Snow N Roses and Julie First in the eighth.

Shots in the dark: Very Gold debuts in a weak race for trainer Chuck Treece in the first. Royal Quick Fame makes his local bow for trainer John Cooper in the second.
