Officials Welcome Retail Center at Ft. Ord Site

Officials here said they are delighted that a developer wants to bring the town a Safeway and a “big box” home improvement store. The City Council has agreed to work with Marina Retail Partnership to develop the retail center on 63 acres in the former Ft. Ord. City officials are asking residents for comment.
