Dan Snyder was buried Friday in his hometown of Elmira, Canada, and the parents of the Atlanta Thrasher player said they forgive Dany Heatley, the teammate charged in their son’s death. Members of the Thrashers, including Heatley on crutches, attended the private burial. Snyder died Sunday, six days after a sports car driven by Heatley crashed into a wall in Atlanta. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab said Heatley was not drunk.
