From Times Wire Reports

A man who taught his dog Adolf to give a Hitler salute was charged with violating Germany’s anti-Nazi laws for a series of incidents, a Berlin court said.

People complained that they had seen Roland Thein giving the salute and telling his dog to do likewise. A court spokeswoman said he ordered the dog to give investigators the salute.

Prosecutors dropped the specific charges related to the dog and focused on other incidents in which the man was seen using outlawed language such as “Sieg Heil” and “Heil Hitler” in public.
