Unlicensed Driver Injures 2 Women, Baby
A van driven by a Santa Ana woman who didn’t have a license struck two women and a 1-year-old child sitting at a bus stop Thursday, police said.
The victims, along with the husband of driver Antonia Soto, 32, were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries, said Police Sgt. Baltazar De La Riva.
Soto was driving south on Main Street, approaching 17th Street, when the accident occurred about 12:30 p.m., De La Riva said. She was cited for having no license or insurance, no car seat for one of the four children in the van and for making an unsafe lane change, he said.
