Pieffer’s Field Goals Lift Nevada Las Vegas, 33-22

Dillon Pieffer kicked four field goals and Dominique Dorsey ran for 111 yards and a touchdown Friday night as Nevada Las Vegas defeated Hawaii, 33-22, in a nonconference game before 34,287 at Las Vegas.

The Rebels (3-1) trailed, 14-7, in the second quarter, then scored the next 20 points to take control.

Hawaii quarterback Timmy Chang was 37 of 61 for 363 yards and two touchdowns but was intercepted three times. The Rainbows (1-2) have lost two in a row.
