Judy, Judy, Judy: In honor of the 60th anniversary of the treasured musical film “Meet Me in St. Louis,” Warner Home Video serves up DVD releases Tuesday of five vintage Judy Garland films made at MGM.

‘Meet Me in St. Louis’

Stars: Judy Garland, Margaret O’Brien, Lucille Bremer, Tom Drake (Warner Home Video, $27)

The background: This scrumptious two-disc set celebrates the 1944 Technicolor musical that director Vincente Minnelli made shortly before marrying his star. Set in turn-of- the century St. Louis, the comedy based on Sally Benson’s autobiographical tales revolves around a large, happy family that learns it is moving to New York. The film features such standards as “The Trolley Song” and “The Boy Next Door.”

Extras: Garland and Minnelli’s daughter Liza Minnelli provides an effusive intro to the film. The lively, informative commentary track features Garland biographer John Fricke, O’Brien, screenwriter Irving Brecher, songwriter Hugh Martin and Barbara Freed-Saltzman, producer Arthur Freed’s daughter.

The second disc’s extras include “Meet Me in St. Louis: The Making of An American Classic”; a 1972 TV special, “Hollywood: The Dream Factory”; a 1966 TV pilot based on the movie starring Shelley Fabares; a creaky but charming 1930 musical short, “Bubbles,” which features Garland at age 7; and a 1941 short, “Skip to My Lou,” starring “Meet Me in St. Louis” composers Martin and Ralph Blane.

Rounding out the charming DVD are a stills gallery, a reconstruction of the deleted song “Boys and Girls Like You and Me” and the 1946 Lux Radio Theater broadcast of “St. Louis.”

‘Love Finds Andy Hardy’

Stars: Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney

(Warner Home Video, $20)

The background: Garland made several films at MGM with the equally popular juvenile star Rooney, including this light 1938 installment in Rooney’s popular “Andy Hardy” series. Garland is a fresh-faced delight as Betsy Booth, a young girl visiting her grandmother, who just happens to live next door to the Hardy family. Betsy helps Andy juggle his two girlfriends (Ann Rutherford and a young Lana Turner).

Extras: Introduction by Fricke and Rutherford; a radio promo, “Leo Is in the Air,” and a fun promotional trailer, “Hardy Family Christmas.’

‘Ziegfeld Girl’

Stars: James Stewart, Lana Turner, Judy Garland

(Warner Home Video, $20)

The background: MGM won best picture honors for its glitzy 1936 biopic of showman Florenz Ziegfeld, “The Great Ziegfeld.” And five years later, the studio produced this overlong soap opera looking at the lives of several Ziegfeld chorus girls. Garland shines as a talented chorus girl who becomes a star. The movie also features Hedy Lamarr.

Extras: An introduction by Fricke; a 1942 MGM short, “A New Romance of Celluloid: We Must Have Music”; a 1942 Our Gang short, “Melodies Old and New,” featuring Robert Blake; audio outtake of the song “Too Beautiful to Last” and audio of a deleted finale, “We Must Have Music.”

‘For Me and My Gal’

Stars: Judy Garland, Gene Kelly

(Warner Home Video, $20)

The background: Garland is all grown up and dramatic in this 1942 period musical best known as Kelly’s film debut. The plot is pure hokum -- a vaudeville couple encounter many ups and downs in their quest to play the Palace Theatre in New York -- but Garland and Kelly are a perfect match.

Extras: Commentary by Fricke; the 1935 short, “La Fiesta de Santa Barbara,” starring Garland and her two sisters; “Every Sunday,” a 1936 short with Garland and Deanna Durbin; and the 1943 Lady Esther Screen Guild Theater radio version.

‘In the Good Old Summertime’

Stars: Van Johnson, Judy Garland

(Warner Home Video, $20)

The background: Engaging 1949 musical version of the 1940 comedy “The Shop Around the Corner.” Garland plays a salesgirl in a Chicago music store; Johnson is the manager who is constantly squabbling with her. Little do they know they are romantic pen-pals.

Extras: Introduction by Fricke; two vintage MGM shorts, “Chicago the Beautiful,” “Night Life in Chicago.”
