Crash Victim Was Man From Corona
From a Times Staff Writer
An 84-year-old man who died in a single-car crash on the Riverside Freeway was identified Saturday as Ivy Lee Belot of Corona.
California Highway Patrol officials said Belot was eastbound in his Ford Explorer about 6:30 p.m. Friday, when he crashed into the safety barrels separating the onramp to the Orange Freeway.
Belot was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he died, police said.
