A roller coaster that struck and killed an employee at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Friday will reopen on Monday, park officials said.

The state Division of Occupational Safety and Health gave the amusement park permission to reopen the ride on Saturday, but park officials decided to wait until Monday.

Bantita Rackchamroon, 21, was struck and killed by one of a string of cars on the Scream roller coaster shortly before the park opened. Cal/OSHA and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department concluded that her death was “a tragic accident.”
