Errant Shot Wounds Sheriff’s Range Master

ORANGE
A range master at the Orange County Sheriff’s Training Facility in Orange was shot in the leg Thursday when a gun being unloaded by an instructor accidentally discharged, officials said.
The range master, who was not identified, was walking by when the weapon went off, sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino said. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with non-life-threatening injuries.
