Van on Anaheim Street Yields Body
An unidentified man was found dead Wednesday in a van parked on a residential street in Anaheim, police said.
Details of the incident were sketchy. Callers reported hearing gunshots in the area about 7:30 p.m. and told police a man was “down” inside a parked vehicle in the 2100 block of West Chateau Avenue, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
Paramedics declared the man, who had suffered trauma to the head, dead at the scene, Martinez said.
Police had no suspects. Detectives and county coroners officials were investigating.
