Monique Currie scored 20 points and No. 10 Duke upset fourth-ranked Tennessee, 59-57, on Thursday night, becoming only the seventh team in 17 years to beat the Lady Vols in Thompson-Boling Arena at Knoxville, Tenn.

The Lady Vols (4-2) have lost only 14 times at home since the arena opened in 1987. Besides Duke and Connecticut, which won at Knoxville last season, the Lady Vols have dropped at least one home game to Texas, Louisiana Tech, Auburn, Georgia and Stanford.

Tennessee shot 28% (21 of 75) and was outrebounded, 53-42.

Currie scored six points in the final 1:41 and had nine rebounds. Mistie Williams added 14 points for the Blue Devils (6-1).
