* What to watch: Both teams are trying to cap turnaround seasons with a win. Marshall lost its first three games, and Cincinnati started 2-4. Cincinnati’s chances could depend on quarterback Gino Guidugli, who recently had a cast removed from his broken right hand. He broke a bone when he fell Nov. 20 outside his home. Marshall’s defense could be tough for him. The Thundering Herd, led by defensive end Johnathan Goddard and defensive back Curtis Keyes, held opponents to 106 yards rushing per game. Goddard, the MAC defensive player of the year, also had 16 sacks. If Guidugli plays, he’ll need good protection.

* Notes: Cincinnati scored more than 40 points four times this season.... Collin Carey and George Murray split time at quarterback in the Bearcats’ 70-7 loss to Louisville the week after Guidugli’s injury.
