Woman to Be Tried in Killing, Murder Attempt
From Times Staff Reports
A Mission Viejo woman who allegedly stabbed her on-again-off-again boyfriend and then killed his 13-year-old son after being spurned by the man will stand trial on charges of attempted murder and murder, a Superior Court judge has ruled.
Tamara Kay Bohler, 45, used a kitchen knife to stab Jean Marc Weber, 45, on July 4 as he slept in his Mission Viejo condominium, authorities said. She later allegedly attacked his son, Alex, in another room.
The judge issued his ruling after a preliminary hearing.
