Interim Park Chief Gets to Keep the Job

The interim chief of Ventura’s Seaside Park has been promoted to the top job, park officials said.
Ed Barlow, who has run the park since the departure of Roger Gibbs in late 2002, Tuesday was named chief executive of the park, which includes the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
Barlow joined Seaside Park in 1998 as deputy general manager. Before that, he worked at Knott’s Berry Farm for 27 years.
