HUMANITARIAN BOWL
Tulsa (8-4) vs. Georgia Tech (6-6), 9 a.m., ESPN -- The Golden Hurricane averaged 40.8 points over the last five games, all victories. A high-scoring game seemingly would favor Tulsa, which had 158 plays resulting in gains of 10 yards or more. Quarterback James Kilian has accounted for 29 touchdowns and will return after breaking his collarbone in the regular-season finale against San Jose State. The Golden Hurricane ranks 14th in rushing, but only 87th stopping it, suggesting that Georgia Tech tailback P.J. Daniels, who ran for 1,140 yards, could have a big game behind an offensive line that will have a size advantage. Of note, as always in Boise, Idaho, is the weather. There is a 50% chance of snow showers with a kickoff temperature of 23 degrees.
