Holiday closings
Monday is Martin Luther King Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Government: All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed.
Courts: All courthouses will be closed.
Mail: All post offices will be closed and no mail will be delivered.
Banks: All banks will be closed.
Libraries: All Ventura County libraries will be closed.
Schools: All Ventura County schools will be closed.
Trash collection: Trash service in Oxnard and Santa Paula will be delayed a day throughout the week. However, services in all other cities of Ventura County will have regular pickups on Monday.
Public transportation: Ventura County transit will operate on regular schedules except for Moorpark, which will have no service Monday. Metrolink service will operate on a reduced schedule. Call for information.
