TV movie: CBS has given the green light to a remake of the 1970 movie musical “Scrooge,” with Leslie Bricusse revising the original screenplay that he co-authored and adding seven new songs by him, for airing late this year.
Tony Awards: A new deal with CBS ensures that the Tony Awards will continue to air on that network through 2010.
