Share

Royal Prosity, who was claimed for $2,500 earlier this year, will try to become a stakes winner tonight in the $26,350 Independence Day Handicap at 300 yards.

Trained by Jesus Nunez, the 4-year-old Royal Quick Dash gelding broke his maiden on Feb. 8, the night he was claimed, and has only improved for his new connections.

In four races since, Royal Prosity has three wins and a second.

Challengers include Chitchat N Charlie, who won as the 7-5 favorite in his most recent start, and Stel Corona, who won on May 14. Pats Charming Guy and Be Real Quick complete the field.
