From Times Wire Reports

A man faces life in prison for the 1992 murders of two San Diego teenagers whose bodies were found on the front lawn of a local high school.

A San Diego County jury convicted Mon Smann on Wednesday of murdering Chang Lee, 16, and Sisouphanh Khamphila, 18.

Smann, 32, faces a mandatory life term at his Sept. 17 sentencing. A jury found him guilty in 2001, but the conviction was overturned on appeal. A court ruled that Smann should have been allowed to present evidence suggesting another person was responsible for the murders.
