Letter Carrier Attacked by Rottweiler in N. Hollywood

A Rottweiler mauled a 50-year-old letter carrier as the man was making his rounds in North Hollywood on Thursday, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
The carrier, a Palmdale resident who was not identified, was reported in good condition after treatment for a deep facial laceration, officials said.
Animal regulation personnel captured the dog after the attack, which occurred in the 6300 block of Kraft Avenue, officials said.
