A Huntington Beach motorist was killed when his vehicle flipped over on the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor in Irvine, the California Highway Patrol said Friday.

Jeffery Lee, 33, who was alone in the car, was traveling north about 11 p.m. Thursday when he abruptly crossed the toll road and lost control of his car, and it overturned several times, a CHP spokeswoman said.

Lee, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where he was pronounced dead.
