Barry Bonds was on steroids when he hit 73 home runs? A guy who averaged 29 home runs for the first 10 years of his career? Next thing you’ll tell me is there is no Santa Claus and no Easter Bunny. Barry’s tainted home run record has about as much credibility as he does in continually denying the obvious. I may not be the sharpest knife in the shed but, thankfully, I still have my vision.

Maybe the fans should just embrace this new sports culture. Instead of bobble-head night at our major league ballparks, let’s have THG night: All fans over 10 can begin their first cycle. No more statistics on the back of baseball cards, but the player’s steroid dosages and “cycling” schedule. Oh, and forget the gum, a disposable syringe in each pack.

Barry Bonds, after explaining to his children the attributes of taking shortcuts, and having no respect for yourself or your employer, can lecture to our young athletes on the same.

What’s all this controversy over baseball players using spheroids? The game has been played with a spheroid every since it was invented. It’s hard enough to hit a spheroid with a round bat, but can you imagine trying to hit a rectangle or rhombus-shaped object? What? You’re talking about steroids, not spheroids? Oh.
