Fatal Shooting at Bar Deemed Self-Defense
A security guard who was attacked and beaten by at least two patrons at a bar early Saturday shot one of them to death in self-defense, police said.
The shooting occurred about 1:15 a.m. in the 4600 block of Huntington Drive in El Sereno, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The security guard, whose name was not released, was not arrested.
