Bryant Seeking Phone Records
EAGLE, Colo. —
Kobe Bryant’s attorneys plan to argue at Thursday’s hearing in Eagle County Court that telephone records and text messages from the woman accusing the Laker star of rape in the days surrounding the June 30 incident should be released.
The defense also wants records of calls and messages sent and received by other key figures in the case, including the woman’s longtime boyfriend and the bellhop at the Edwards, Colo., hotel where the alleged rape occurred.
The requests are part of six items on the agenda.
