Girl, 2, Severely Burned by Fall Into Hot Soup

A 2-year-old girl is being treated for severe burns over more than half her body after she fell into a large pot of hot soup during a party Saturday night, officials said.
The girl, whose name is not being released, was at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks on Sunday with second- and third-degree burns to her upper body and arms, said police and Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis.
Collis said the pot of soup was cooling on the floor during the crowded party when the girl fell.
