Owner of Angels Is Way Off Base

Re “Stealing Home From Angel Fans,” Nov. 14: The Angels’ ownership has shown its true colors -- and it turns out there’s no orange in sight. It is obvious that team owner Arte Moreno would have preferred to own the Dodgers but had to settle for the Angels. If he’s embarrassed by the Orange County/Anaheim connection, why did he buy the team? Moreno and his cohorts have shown disdain and contempt for Orange County; then he sends his henchmen out to deal with the reaction to this unpopular decision. If baseball Commissioner Bud Selig approves this change, then part of the deal should be renaming the Milwaukee Brewers the “Chicago Brewers” so that we would know it’s a “big market” team.
