Body Found Near Surfside Jetty
From a Times Staff Writer
Seal Beach police Wednesday were trying to identify a man whose nude body washed ashore about 200 feet south of the Surfside jetty.
The man is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 180 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and no identifying marks. He was found about 4:30 p.m. and is believed to have been in the water for two to four days.
“Right now we have no idea what the cause of death is,” supervising deputy Orange County coroner Joseph Luckey said.
