Suspects Sought in Shootout With Officers

Police were searching for four or five suspects who reportedly traded gunfire with officers late Tuesday night in a neighborhood near Buckeye Street and El Molino Avenue, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 9:45 p.m., as Pasadena police pursued a car containing suspected gang members. The vehicle stopped and the occupants fled and fired several shots at the officers, police said. Officers fired back, but it appears nobody was injured.
