Jada’s Wicked Wisdom jams at the Viper Room

Jada Pinkett Smith rocked the Viper Room on Friday night, as her band Wicked Wisdom entertained the likes of hubby Will Smith, Tom Cruise and Sharon Osbourne. You can catch Smith tonight at the Key Club or on May 16 when she performs with her group at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip.... Cut-up Jack Black was among the fans who turned out to cheer on Queens of the Stone Age at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood on Monday. And fans got an earshot of ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons, who played with Queens for the encore.... How hot is the downtown L.A. bar scene getting? Well, in addition to Golden Gopher and the upcoming Big Bills, Broadway Bar and Harlem Place, we hear Well/Daddy’s/NoBar owner Craig Trager plans to open a bar in one of downtown’s historic buildings next year.... Oh, and Long Beach has a new hang with the opening of the Broadlind Lounge at the Basement, located downstairs in the Broadlind Hotel at Broadway and Linden Avenue. The upscale lounge, which is being promoted by Dennis Lluy of Koo’s Art Center, will officially open in mid-May, but the club held a “soft” opening for friends on Saturday. The music, though, was anything but soft -- members of the Mars Volta and the Offspring, among other rockers, helped christen the venue.

Biker chicks

So if you see a biker crew cruising Hollywood, don’t worry: It’s not a gang, it’s a club. On Thursday night we caught up with the Hellions, gals who go from club to club on vintage beach cruisers and lowrider bikes. Last week’s trek included stops at Highland Grounds, Tiger Heat and Three Clubs for a late-night acoustic set by rocker Coyote Shivers.... On Tuesday, famed Hollywood doorman Steven Harlow celebrated his birthday at the Vine Street Lounge.... The female-fronted L.A. trio the Horribles plays its final show at the Parlour Club in WeHo on Wednesday.... The Crystal Method cranked it up Saturday at Avalon to mark their new mix CD “Community Service II.” And we hear the Killers rolled into Avalon around 3 a.m. after their Wiltern LG show.

Fast forward

Tonight at Hollywood and Highland’s newest venue, Montmartre (named after the famous 1920s Hollywood cafe), hotties Carmen Electra, Molly Sims and Entourage’s Adrian Grenier are hosting a bash to debut Pioneer Electronics’ new driving navigation system. If only it could cut traffic.... Tonight on Melrose, the sneakers spot Sportie L.A. debuts Vault Lounge, a brand new showcase space. DJs Adam 12 and Henry Eshelman will be spinning at the Reebok- sponsored event.... Calling all mods: April 29 kicks off this year’s Mods Mayday Weekender, where such clubs as Crane’s Tavern in Hollywood, Zen Sushi in Silver Lake and Alex’s Bar in Long Beach participate. Beginning in June, the first Tuesday of every month will be “Hell Night,” as rocker Brett Hellings headlines a bill of fast and furious L.A. rock at the renovated Cat Club on the Strip.... The King King club in Hollywood celebrates its third anniversary Monday night. Time flies when you’re having fun.
