Livingston Is Cleared to Return to Practice

Share

The good news for the Clippers is that Shaun Livingston’s back injury has healed and he can resume practice.

The bad news: He won’t be available to play for about two weeks.

The promising second-year player, who has been sidelined by a stress reaction in his lower back since training camp, was cleared to begin conditioning drills today.

Livingston, the first point guard to jump directly from high school to the NBA, played in only 30 games last season because of knee and shoulder injuries. He averaged five assists and 7.4 points while playing 27.1 minutes a game.
