Man Convicted of Killing Two Teens in 2004

A Rancho Cucamonga man was convicted Wednesday of 11 felony counts -- including two counts of murder -- in connection with crimes that included two teenagers being shot dead.

A jury found that Lanny Woosley, 23, killed Rancho Cucamonga High School seniors Blake Harris, 18, and Christopher Heyman, 17, on a Foothill Freeway overpass on Jan. 18, 2004. His accomplice, Alexis Jimenez, died two days later in a shootout with Colton police.

Woosley, who was also convicted of three counts of attempted murder as well as carjacking and arson, could face 25 years to life in prison for each murder count. His sentencing is scheduled Jan. 31 at San Bernardino County Superior Court in Rancho Cucamonga.
