Don’t forget Long Beach

In Emily Green’s story on California Arts & Crafts homes (“Conversant in Craftsman,” Jan. 27), she neglected about half the Craftsman homes in Southern California.

Long Beach has more Craftsman homes than Pasadena. These homes are beautiful.

What’s more, under the guidance of the city of Long Beach’s former neighborhood and historic preservation officer, Ruthann Lehrer, many are in historic neighborhoods, which protects their architecture.
