Explicit E-Mails Lead to Arrest of Teacher
A parent’s discovery that his 15-year-old daughter was engaged in a romantic Internet relationship led to the arrest Thursday of a Northern California high school teacher for allegedly posing as an 18-year-old to entice her into sexual behavior, authorities said.
Paul Dwyer Grennan, 66, of Salinas was arrested at Soledad High School, where he teaches driver’s education and “life skills,” according to the FBI.
The investigation, a spokeswoman said, stemmed from a Jan. 26 complaint from a Brea parent who had found sexually explicit e-mails on his daughter’s computer. An investigation revealed that the two had also exchanged sexually explicit images, she said.
