Oh my. Savannah State finished 0 for the season.

The Tigers became only the second NCAA Division I-A school in 50 years to go through a season without a victory, losing to Florida A&M;, 49-44, Monday night to finish 0-28.

At least Savannah State didn’t go down without a fight, managing its closest loss this season. The Tigers tied the score, 41-41, with 1:57 left when Donald Carson -- son of former New York Giant linebacker Harry Carson -- made two free throws.

Savannah State joined Prairie View A&M; in the hall of infamy. The Texas school was 0-28 in 1991-92 -- the only other Division I team in the last 50 years to endure a winless season.
